The new Mira M-3 for raw material verification
With the Mira M-3, you will be able to ensure smooth and efficient processes, as you will get a reliable “Pass” or “Fail” result in 15 to 20 seconds on average.
The instrument and dedicated MiraCal 3.0 software is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, making the Mira M-3 the ideal instrument for material verification in regulated industries.
Get fast, accurate, and reliable results
With the Mira M-3, you will get accurate results in just seconds. After collecting spectra for a few seconds, the instrument will give you a clear “Pass” or “Fail” result.
The instrument calculates the result on the basis of multivariate probabilistic algorithms to verify the identity of raw materials. This approach is much more accurate and reliable than traditional HQI spectral matching.
Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11)
The Mira Cal software provided with the Mira M-3 instrument offers many features that help you to ensure secure and well-documented procedures in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations:
- Multilevel access control, including three predefined access levels and optional password ageing and complexity requirements
- Audit trails to log all actions on the instruments
- Secure electronic records that are synced to a secure database on a PC
- Reports containing all required information (instrument info, parameters, electronic signatures) are generated at the push of the button
Simplify raw material verification
The built-in barcode scanner can be used to automatically populate the sample name and the Lot ID by scanning the barcode prior to acquisition.
Mira M-1: The ideal spectrometer for materials identification
This light, compact, and handy instrument provides results in a matter of seconds. It allows you to identify a variety of materials, as it comprises a spectral library of more than 9000 Raman spectra.
You also have the option of populating customized libraries with your own measured spectra. This “open library” principle gives you maximum flexibility when designing your libraries.
Orbital Raster Scan: for improved reproducibility and accuracy
With ORS, the laser beam is not static, but moving in a circular motion. The instrument does not collect the spectrum from one point, but rather from an area. This makes the results more reliable, and provides a unique sampling advantage for heterogeneous material.
ORS achieves an outstanding resolution even for heterogeneous samples. Also, ORS prevents heat buildup in the sample and thus reduces the risk of degradation or ignition.
Maximum flexibility thanks to different modes and accessories
Mira handheld Raman spectrometers offer you maximum flexibility and safety. You can analyze samples either in vials that are inserted into the vial attachment or directly in the plastic or glass containers or packages. The range of accessories for Mira analyzers include:
