MasterClass Advanced Electrochemical Techniques

Expert Training and Hands on Experience (Sorry this course is full)

The objective of the course is to provide advanced lectures, seminars and hands on experiments for scientists who use or wish to use electrochemical methods for their research or industrial applications.

A strong emphasis of the course will be on using small group teaching methods, supported by Cambridge University and Monash University academics, to train participants in the use of ‘state-of-the-art’ electrochemical techniques.

This unique MasterClass programme will be directed by Adrian C Fisher, University of Cambridge in collaboration with Prof Alan Bond and Dr Jie Zhang, Monash University. Adrian Fisher is involved in the recently established CREATE Campus as part of the Cambridge CARES programme. The course will be presented by colleagues from leading UK and Australia academic institutions.

Delegates will receive lectures on fundamental and advanced electrochemical theory.

Date: 4-5th December, 2017 (Monday – Tuesday)

Venue: Monash University, Melbourne

Time: 09:00 – 18:00


  • $650 for students
  • $800 for Industry participants

Cancellation policy: Upon receipt of registration, any cancellation must be confirmed in writing. A 50% cancellation charge applies if notice of cancellation is received less than 10 working days before the course date. If participant fails to show, participants will be invoiced for the full fee. However, substitutes will be allowed.


Registration is closed as the maximum number of participants of 32 has been reached.

We will be running a similar workshop in 2018.
