The Rotor 48MF50 can be equipped with up to 48 reaction vessels, arranged in three circles, for reactions up to 200°C and 20 bar. The sophisticated vessel design with only three parts to assemble enables quick handling without compromising safety. The vessels are closed with robust cone seals, thus seal forming is not necessary anymore.
For appropriate overpressure protection each screw cap is equipped with a metal rupture disk designed for an opening pressure of 30 bar. The reaction control options are IR control on the centre circle and an immersing temperature/pressure sensor utilizing Anton Paar´s wireless data transmission technology. The proven homogeneity of the microwave field ensures uniform heating and identical results at every position.
Well known features of the Multiwave 3000 system, such as reliable safety measures, fast air cooling and compliance with international safety standards also apply to the Rotor 48MF50.
